Participants have the flexibility to register for the full certificate, which can be completed in four months, or register for one five-week module at a time.

Registration is a two-step process. Here’s what to expect:
- You’ll complete a registration form.
- We’ll need your contact information and some details about your professional background.
- You’ll submit your payment online.
- It can take 1-2 business days to process your payment information. You will receive a registration confirmation email from Darden EELL once your payment has been processed.
- You’ll be registered!
- You will receive a welcome email from Darden EELL before your first module begins, and additional emails about program logistics will follow.
We encourage you to register early. The final deadline to submit payment is 6 p.m. EST on the published start date of the class. Payment processing could take 24-48 hours. We suggest you submit payment at least five days before the deadline to avoid delays in accessing program content.

General Cancellation/Transfer Policy
- Cancellation or transfer is permitted within seven calendar days of the program start date.
- For transfers, you may transfer to one subsequent course offered within one year, if available.
- No refunds or transfers will be permitted after the first seven days of the program.
Withdrawals and Refunds
All cancellations and transfers must be received in writing. Submit your request via email to Darden_ExEd@darden.virginia.edu with the name of the program, followed by “cancellation” or “transfer” in the subject line.
